About the Founder
Michel Bottan
from software developer to soil developer
A tech entrepreneur and software developer who traded code for soil. In 2016, a life-changing 3-month trainee-for-trainers program with Ernst Götsch sparked a complete transformation. I sold my company, bought degraded land, and became a regenerative farmer.
This journey gave birth to Desperto - Regenerative Culture Centre, located in Caçapava, just 1h30 from São Paulo. What started as personal transformation became a school for others seeking the transition to a regenerative lifestyle. Oasis is an extension of this mission: making syntropic knowledge accessible to everyone, everywhere.
